Events This Month - July 2009

 

Take a break from your busy weekend and check out the 2nd Saturday Art Stroll on Saturday, July 11 from 6:00-10:00pm. The Art Stroll is organized by the Chincoteague Cultural Alliance (CCA), with CCA member shops and galleries offering a wide variety of artistic and cultural activities throughout the evening. Pick up InfoMaps at participating shops and galleries as well as the Chincoteague Chamber Visitor Center, local lodging and restaurants. This month's special events include:   

 

Big Competition
Egret Moon Artworks - Bring your best Shadow Puppet to the Garden and hop your Bunnies, Queen of Shebas and your Junkyard Dogs across the big screen. Cool prizes  


Book Signing

Keep in mind that while the shops and galleries listed above have special events scheduled this month, other members feature art, books, antiques and specialty foods in their shops and many provide special treats during the art stroll. These include the Bookhounds, Flying Fish Gallery,  Guinivers, and the Osprey Nest Gallery.
