CCA News - March 2008
Welcome to the CCA News!

March is an exciting month on Chincoteague Island. We're
celebrating the 100th anniversary of the incorporation of
the town. There is a kick-off event at the Chincoteague
Center on March 13 at 5:00pm. Earlier that day, the Island
Library breaks ground for the new expansion. Watch for
activities throughout the year that will commemorate this
major milestone for Chincoteague Island.

Water Heritage Festival
For our part, CCA will sponsor a Water Heritage Festival on
Saturday, June 21. It will be day to highlight all of the
ways that the water has been part of the town - from
fishing and boating, carving to water sports and everything
in between. Watch for more details in upcoming newsletters
and on the web site.

CCA Acoustic Music Concert Series
March also brings the first concert in the CCA Spring
Acoustic Music Concert Series. Ken Bloom performs on
Saturday, March 29 at 7:30 at the Senior Center. Mark your
calendars and get your tickets at H & H Pharmacy, Egret
Moon Artworks, Island Cottage Collection, Sundial Books or
