Booking Information

The Chincoteague Cultural Alliance seeks artists of all types for performances, workshops and demonstrations.

Musicians are booked (generally for a fee) for:

1.  Ticketed acoustic music concerts held on Saturday nights.  Terms provide a guarantee to the musician plus 100% of product sales.

2.  Open air concerts held in Robert Reed Park along the waterfront in downtown.  Terms are governed by grant funding.

3.  Chamber and classical music concerts.  Terms are set by funding sources and vary widely.

Musicians interested in performing at one of the CCA musical events on the Island should contact CCA with particulars of their work or performance. Please include a link to your website or other site with sample files of your music, attach music clips or provide a CD with samples of your music.

Artists, Writers, Poets and Musicians (generally volunteers) are scheduled for:

  1. 2nd Saturday Art Stolls.  Artists demonstrate/exhibit their work inside or outside shops and galleries, musicians perform outdoor acoustic music in front of designated shops and authors/poets sign copies of published books. Terms for the sale of goods by the artist vary by individual shop or gallery.

  2. Selected Festivals or community events in Robert Reed Downtown Waterfront Park, including the weekly Farmer's Market during the spring and summer months.  In most cases, vender spaces for artists are generally available for a very nominal fee.
