The Chincoteague Cultural Alliance is a non-profit, tax-exempt organization formed to enhance community life by fostering and promoting the growth and vitality of arts and culture on Chincoteague Island and Delmarva’s Eastern Shore.

Our  mission is:

  • To create opportunities for residents and visitors to the Eastern Shore to experience and learn about the arts
  • To create a supportive environment for artists that improves their capacity to contribute to community life
  • To cultivate collaborations that advance community development through the promotion of arts and culture

CCA is an all volunteer organization, with artists, musicians, shop/gallery owners, arts enthusiasts and others working together to offer a broad range of programs each year.

Program support is provided by

  • The Virginia Commission for the Arts
  • The National Endowment for the Arts and
  • The Town of Chincoteague.
