 Native American Festival 

Saturday, November 8, 12:00 noon to 5:00 pm. The 2nd  Native American Festival was held at Robert Reed Park on the waterfront in downtown Chincoteague.

Accohannocks and the Nause-Waiwash were among
many tribes and bands that participated 
in the Native American Festival.

The Festival began with the Veteran’s Honoring Ceremony

  • The movie Homeland was shown.  Homeland tells the story of life on the reservations from the point of view of Native Americans.

2nd Saturday
Native American artists continued to demonstrate their work at CCA member galleries and shops throughout town during 2nd Saturday.  Festivities began at 6 p.m.
